At a command prompt in your HotBasic directory, you may type

hot11 hello

to compile your first program with HotBasic.  Then,

hello

runs the program.

The HotIDE download may be used setting the compiler command
to "hot11.exe -s"

The HotTrial and HotReg downloads provide source code examples
to compile.

Your directories should look something like this (c:\hot file
sizes may vary):
