Files Updated with Version are at present located on the author's system.
We ask your patience if the following link is at times "down":
hotbasicxxx.zip 78K core of HotBasic Compiler.

If your HotBasic (HB) directory is, say, c:\hot, then hotbasicxxx.zip is unzipped
into that working directory. hot_bin.zip should unpack to a subdirectory -- bin.
For example, pkunzip -d hot_bin should work. hotcheck.bat may be used to check
your setup.

hb.bat contains the HotBasic directory which may be edited to fit the drive
and name you actually use. Once that hb.bat is correct, you can copy it to
any drive/directory where your .bas projects are located. .bas files can be
put in the hot directory and compile, also. Often, it is convenient to have
files associated with each project in their own directory. Then in that
directory, you just type "hb myprog". Notice that the HotBasic Compiler
hot.exe assumes the default program file extension of .bas if none is specified,
as in the example above.

Do not put HotBasic or your program source code in paths that contain spaces,
e.g., "Program Files" or "My Documents".

HotBasic is generally backward-compatible with RapidQ Basic and therefore the
RQ documentation may be helpful. The .html version seems more complete than
the .chm version.

Thank you very much for trying HotBasic.

Cordially, James Keene PhD
