Antares 5.1 is created to perform astrological calculations used
in Complex Prediction Technique.

  The program minimal hardware requirements:
      - DOS or Windows,
      - 640 Kb RAM,
      - 4 Mb free on the hard disk,
      - VGA color monitor 640x480.

If you wish to start Antares 5.1 in the Windows mode (without
using of Norton Commander or any other DOS-shell program), create
a shortcut on the desktop and set PROPERTIES:

               PROGRAM - Window: Maximized
                SCREEN - Mode: Full screen

For viewing the files created by the program it is more suitable
to use a text mode editor (for example, Norton Commander's Editor).

                         THE USER'S GUIDE

Work with Antares 5.1 should be carried out in the following
order:
  1) Creating of preliminary natal horoscope (on the basis of
birth time known for the user).
  2) Rectification of the natal horoscope: correction of birth
     time and SPE calculation.
  3) Creating of correct natal horoscope.
  4) Long-term astrological prediction.
  5) Creating of solar horoscope.
  6) Daily astrological prediction.
  7) Considering of interpersonal relations.
  8) Creating of actual horoscope.

Let's consider each of these items.

            I. CREATING OF PRELIMINARY NATAL HOROSCOPE

Start antares.exe and select <Radix> - <New chart>. For this
purpose click on appropriate buttons on the screen or press R - N.

Notes:
  * To each button on the screen there corresponds the defined
key, therefore working with the program, it is possible to
    use both mouse, and keyboard.
  * When using the keys the keyboard register is not important.
  * If the mouse cursor is not visible on the screen, it means,
that in this case it is possible to use only keys.
  * In some cases at absence of the mouse cursor on the screen
it is possible to control the program by simple mouse button
pressing. Such cases are stipulated in the explanatory text.

Enter initial data of the horoscope. Write the name of its owner
containing up to sixteen characters (letters, digits, blanks) and
press Enter.

Indicate sex of the horoscope owner: M - male, F - female.

Enter date and Greenwich time of birth:

             MM - Enter - DD - Enter - YYYY - Enter -

              - HH - Enter - MM - Enter - SS - Enter

When operating with the demo-version the year of birth is entered
automatically: 1963.

In the program the format of date MM/DD/YYYY or Month DD, YYYY,
and only Greenwich time are used.

If the birth time is known not precisely, and only in some
interval, indicate average value, but remember the inexactitude, -
it is required for rectification. For example, if it is known, that
a man was born between 14:30 and 15:00, enter birth time 14:45:00;
the value of an inexactitude in this case is equal to 15 minutes.

Then enter geographical coordinates of the birthplace. For this
purpose press F1, - the list of the largest world cities in
alphabetic order will appear on the screen. If among them there
is a necessary city, click on it or using Down, Up, Home, End,
Right, Left bring the red framework to the city name and press
Enter.

If there is no necessary city in the list, select "world map"
string from the screen's lower right corner, and then - a region
(one of five continents or the USA), in which the city is located.
For this purpose...

press the key from 1 up to 6
                    or
click on appropriate string under the map
                    or
click on an outline on the map.

In the opened of the given region city list find the necessary
name and click on it, - the coordinates will be entered
automatically. If all list does not find room on one screen,
scroll on it, using Down, Up, Home, End, PgDn, PgUp.

The coordinates can be entered also with the help of keys. For
this purpose scroll on the list so that the necessary string has
appeared on the red string in the middle of the screen, and then
press Enter.

To make easier search of city you can press the key with the
first letter of the name. In this case the string with the first
city which name begins on this letter will be selected, others
will be indicated under it in alphabetic order and they can be
found visually.

For deleting any of the cities from the list bring appropriate
string to the red line, press Del and confirm deleting.

If required city in the list is not present, the geographical
coordinates can be entered manually. For this purpose press

                      F1 - End - Enter - 0

and enter coordinates.

Latitude:
     [degrees] - Enter - [minutes] - Enter - [hemisphere] - Enter

Longitude:
     [degrees] - Enter - [minutes] - Enter - [hemisphere] - Enter

The name:
[up to 25 characters] - Enter

Further request will appear, whether it is necessary to write down
this information into the database. In our opinion, it is desirable
to do it in any case, - the entered coordinates sometime can be
necessary. Therefore click on the "Yes" or press Y or Enter, and
then choose a region, to which list it is necessary to write down
coordinates. The program will enlarge the list automatically and
will return to enter of initial data of the horoscope.

If you have chosen "No" (N or Esc key), the program will return
to enter of initial data, but the coordinates will not be written
down into the cities base.

                            ---------

After enter of personal data, indicate whether it is necessary to
write them down into the archive. It is necessary to do if the
further operation with a horoscope is supposed, - in this case
press any key except for N or click a mouse button (cursor is not
visible at this moment). If for any reason the data do not need to
be entered (for example, the error is detected in them), press N.

After some time the natal chart will appear on the screen, and
in the RADIX folder the file containing the information on the
birth horoscope will be created. Certainly, the data in them will
be not absolutely exact, as the horoscope is not corrected. After
rectification the natal chart and file with the already refreshed
information will appear, for now there is no necessity to consider
them. Click on the "Rectification" button in the right part of the
screen or press R and pass to the following stage of operation.

              II. RECTIFICATION OF NATAL HOROSCOPE

This procedure is a mandatory unit of prediction work, without its
execution it is not necessary to speak about reliability of the
forecast. Nobody can be sure in correctness of birth time, known
for him, even it is captured in medical documents. The practice
shows, that the corrected birth time may differ from initial
time on the value about 20 minutes, and such error considerably
influences accuracy of predicted events.

The essence of the rectification consists in the following.
Knowing astrological time of birth and SPE coordinate, it is
possible, having calculated a horoscope, to predict those or other
events. But there is also inverse relation: knowing events, which
already have taken place, it is possible to calculate necessary
parameters of a natal horoscope. And it is necessary to mean
"events" not only that occurred in life of the horoscope owner,
but also more indirect concepts: the birth or the death of
relatives, some important events in their life etc. The
rectification technique is based exactly on this principle:
birth time told by the customer is taken into consideration at
the beginning and then it is "adjusted" to events, which have
already taken place, including dates of birth and death of the
relatives.

More detailed about rectification see "CPT" chapter 15.

Antares 5.1 takes upon itself all precalculations, producing
the tables necessary for rectification. After that it is possible
to find birth time and SPE coordinate independently, and it is
possible to use automatic rectification of a horoscope (see below
about it).

                     Procedure of operating:

At the beginning of the rectification the request about an
inexactitude of birth time is taken out on the screen. The example
was above adduced, in which the time is defined as 14:45:00, and
the inexactitude was equal to 15 minutes. For this case it is
necessary to enter "15" and to press the Enter key.

If simply to press Enter or to click mouse button (cursor is not
visible at this moment), "00 min." will be entered.

The given rectification technique is applicable for cases, when
the birth time is known to within 30 minutes, therefore setting
of wider range is inexpedient. If you indicate the greater value,
"30 min." will automatically be entered.

The difference between required astrological time of birth
and real time may be about 20 minutes, therefore after entry of
an inexactitude of birth time the program will automatically
increase the interval of search for 20 minutes in both sides.

After that, the events list for rectification by equatorial arcs
will appear on the screen. One of them will be selected by red
colour, and window for entry of time will be placed opposite. If
the marked event occurred in life of the horoscope owner, it
is necessary to enter month and year into the window of request:

                  MM - Enter - YYYY - Enter

Further it is possible to select any other event. For this purpose
use the Down, Up, Home, End keys, or click on line with event, and
then enter month and year.

When the information about all events, known to you, is entered,
press N or click on the "Next" button. The events list for
rectification by natal and solar arcs will appear. All list does
not find room on one screen, but it can be scrolled on using Down,
Up, Home, End, PgDn, PgUp. Find the necessary event in the list
and click on it, or scroll on the list so that the necessary event
has appeared on the red line and press Enter. The request about
time of event will appear, and then, if it is necessary - about
geographical coordinates of the horoscope owner on the
SPE-conjunction moment. The coordinates can be entered in the same
way, as it was done at natal chart creating, however if the owner
of a horoscope in a requested instant was in the birthplace (that
happens rather frequently), it is enough to press Enter or to
click on appropriate line on the screen, and the coordinates will
be entered automatically.

Note:
The request about geographical coordinates occurs not always,
in some cases there is no necessity. So, if any event has taken
place before birth of the horoscope owner, the coordinates of
Giza, Egypt are automatically entered. For the first year of
life - data of birthplaces are automatically entered. And at
last, if the coordinates for any solar year were already entered,
the repeated request is not necessary, the entered information
is saved in the computer memory.

Having processed the obtained data, the program again will
present the events list and will offer to select one of them now
to perform calculations for it. It is possible to continue until
the list of events of which you are informed will be exhausted.

If the wrong event was selected, press Del, the program will
return to the list.

If the events list is exhausted, press N or click on the "Next"
button.

After pressing Esc the program will present two tables: for
horoscope rectification by equatorial arcs and for horoscope
rectification by natal and solar arcs. Tables will be placed in
the file in the RECTIF folder, and after an exit from the program
they can be viewed or printed out. The file name (up to eight
characters) corresponds to a name of the horoscope owner, but
as the first eight letters of different names may coincide the
program assigning the code three-value number to each file as
an extension. For example, if the horoscope owner's name is
John Stone, in the RECTIF folder the "john sto.001" file will
be created.

For each event in the first table the long-term astrological
indications are adduced:
in column 1 - most effective equatorial arcs,
in column 2 - less effective arcs,
in the last graph - progressions and transits.

In brackets next to symbols of arcs, values of house network
displacement necessary for these arcs are given (relative to the
originally taken values).

For transits and progressions the simplified denotation is used.

Transit conjunctions: [transiting planet] - [natal planet]

Transits of planets through natal aspects:
                          [transiting planet] - [aspect]

    Examples: Ur-Sa, Ju-120.

Other sorts of transits are not considered.

    Progressions:
[progressive planet] - [aspect] - [natal planet]

If the progression is inverse, at the end of the denotation it is
marked by "full stop".
   Examples:
          Su-120-Ms - direct progression,
          Vn-60-Mn. - inverse progression.

In the second table are given natal and solar arcs; next to them
in brackets values of house network displacement are adduced.

The strongest arcs in the table are selected as the separating
sign an asterisk is used. For example, the VII*Ms arc is "strong",
and the VII.Ju arc is "weak".

For solar arcs the denotation through a colon is possible also
(for example, V:Mn). It means, that the force of an arc varies
depending on the displacement of house network of NATAL horoscope.

More detailed about rectification it is possible to read in the
book; let's remind only, that the purpose of this procedure is the
search of values of displacement satisfying to the following
requirements:

  1) Any cardinal event should be marked by an equatorial arc from
column "1" or (it is less desirable) from column "2". As an
exception, correlation of event with progressions or transits
     only is acceptable.

  2) Any event in the second table should be marked by a natal or
solar arc. The exceptions are possible, but are not desirable.

  3) The value of displacement for equatorial and natal arcs
should be identical, as both those, and others are calculated
on the basis of same natal horoscope. Thus for equatorial arcs
the inaccuracy up to 0.5 (for arcs of conjunction up to 1),
and for natal arcs - up to 2.5 (as exception - up to 5.5) is
     accepted.

  4) Events in the second table unmarked by natal arcs should be
marked by solar arcs, and for every solar arc the same value
     of displacement should be selected.

  5) The value of displacement for solar arcs may differ from the
value of displacement for natal and equatorial arcs for no
     more than 25.

Having defined the necessary values, make changes in the archive.
If the tables were considered not quitting the program, press M
and enter the retrieved numbers (for example: 5.6 or -3.4 ).
After that the changes in the archive will be made automatically.

If you want to work with the tables later (for example, having
printed them out), it is possible to act as follows:

  1) Print out the tables not quitting the program. The operating
procedure is the same, as for the file in the RADIX folder
     (see lower).

  2) If you do not have time now, the operation can be continued
later. Quit the program, and at any time convenient for you
find in the RECTIF folder the file with a name of the owner
of horoscope and work already with it.

  3) Having defined required values, again start the program and
     fulfil the procedure:

                 Radix - Archives - [horoscope owner] -

               - Rectification - Enter - Next - Next - M

     then enter the retrieved numbers.

                          *    *    *    *

Not having sufficient experience it may be difficult to define the
necessary values, therefore Antares 5.1 stipulates possibility of
an automatic rectification of a horoscope (it is possible if you
have the key file or if the horoscope owner was born in 1963).
The reliability of its results may be estimated at 90-95%, that
is quite acceptable for practical activity.

    The operating procedure:

  1) Begin rectification in the same way, as it was done in the
manual mode. Enter the information on all known events.

  2) After the program will produce the tables for rectification,
start the mode of data processing. For this purpose press A
or click on the appropriate button in the right lower corner
     of the screen.

  3) Having performed necessary calculations, the program will
produce results of rectification: values of displacement,
astrological time of birth, SPE coordinate.
The value of the natal horoscope's RAMC displacement is
rounded up to 0.1, the value of solar horoscopes' RAMC
displacement - up to 0.5, that is quite allowed.
If the obtained values satisfy you, press Y or Enter key,
or click on the "Yes" button. The necessary changes will be
made in the program archive, and the correct natal chart will
     appear on the screen.

  4) If the results of rectification for any reasons cause doubts,
it is possible to press N or to click on the "No" button. In
this case changes will not be made in the archive, and the
natal chart willbe created on a basis of originally taken
     values.

                    III. CORRECT NATAL HOROSCOPE

In future it is possible to create a natal chart from archive. For
this purpose start antares.exe, select <Radix> - <Archives> and
find line with the necessary name. Click on it or select with the
help of Down, Up, Home, End, PgDn, PgUp and press Enter.

If there are too many names and the necessary name can't be found
visually use the "search system". It is very simple: press the
key with the first letter of a name, - the nearest line with a
name which begins with this letter will be selected. If it is not
the one you are looking for, press the key once again, until the
necessary name is found.

For deleting superfluous line from archive, select it, press Del
and confirm deleting.

If you have involved a name from archive, after performance of all
calculations the natal chart will appear on the screen, and in
the RADIX folder the file containing the information on the natal
horoscope will be created.

The file name corresponds to a name of the horoscope owner, and
as the extension the code three-value number is used.

About the natal chart and the file:

The natal horoscope use the tropical Zodiac, ten planets and the
Lunar Nodes, and also one of nine houses systems at the choice of
the user:
       * Placidus
       * Koch
       * Regiomontan
       * Campanus
       * Porphyry
       * equal Asc
       * equal MC
       * Morinus
       * meridian

For choice of the houses system click on string in the left upper
corner of the screen or press S, and then in the opened window
click on the necessary line or press the appropriate key from 0
up to 9.

Ecliptic coordinates of planets, the Ascendant and the MC are
given in the right part of the screen, the degrees of nonangular
houses cusps - in circles on separating lines of horoscope's
houses. If it is necessary to find out more detailed information
on planets and houses, open the file in the RADIX folder. It can
be made not quitting from programs: click on the "File" button or
press F, - the window with the text will appear.

The file can be printed out on the EPSON compatible dot-matrix
printer not quitting from the program (in the same window), but
for this purpose at the beginning it is necessary to select a
fragment of the text, which will be printed out. (For page of
the format A4 optimal size is 60 lines.)

The selection of the text is made by the MOUSE or by the KEYS.

By the mouse:
  1) bring the mouse cursor to the first line of a fragment;
  2) press the left mouse button and not releasing it move the
cursor to the last line of a fragment.

By the keys:
  1) press R;
  2) scroll on the text so that the first line of a fragment was
     first from above on the screen and press Enter;
  3) scroll on the text so that the last line of a fragment was
the first from above on the screen and press Enter.

If it is necessary to cancel selection, right-click or press Esc.

After selection of a fragment it can be printed out. Click on the
"Print" button or press R.

Previously do not forget to switch on the printer.

To close the window with the file press Esc, - the program will
return to the natal chart.

The horoscope position on the screen can be changed at your own
discretion, selecting one four variants:
    * from 0 Aries clockwise,
    * from 0 Aries counter-clockwise,
    * from the Ascendant clockwise,
    * from the Ascendant counter-clockwise.
To change the horoscope position, click on the "View" button or
press V.

The program allows, if necessary, to select on a chart various
categories of aspects: easy (including the quincunx), hard,
creative, karmic and parallels. For this purpose click on
appropriate line in the right part of the screen or press E,
H, C, K or P keys. If it is necessary to return all aspects,
press <+>.

The colours in which the aspects are represented on a chart can be
reset at the user's request. It can be made by mouse or by keys.
To reset with the keys, press:
            for easy aspects - Ctrl+E
            for hard aspects - Ctrl+H
            for creative aspects - Ctrl+C
            for karmic aspects - Ctrl+K
            for parallels - Ctrl+P
After that select a square with the necessary colour in the
appeared window: press the appropriate key from 0 up to 9.

If any aspects should not be displayed on the chart, set for them
white colour.

To reset colours with the mouse, click the line with the aspects'
category name, then the "Ctrl-color" line, and the square with
required colour in the opened window.

Orbs of aspects used in a horoscope also can be reset. For this
purpose click on the "Aspects" button in the right part of the
screen or press A, - the orbs table will appear, in which the
active points of a horoscope are divided into six categories:
1 - the Sun and the Moon,
    2 - inner planets,
3 - outer planets (Uranus, Neptune and Pluto),
    4 - the Lunar Nodes,
5 - the cusps of angular houses (Asc, Dsc, MC, IC),
6 - the cusps of nonangular houses.

The program takes orbs of aspects from this table and takes into
account them by the following rules:

  1) If there are two planets concerning one category in an
aspect, the orb given in an appropriate column is taken
     into account.

  2) If the planets have to do with different categories, the
GREATER value is taken into account.

  3) If there is a planet and a cusp in an aspect, the SMALLER of
two values is taken into account.

  4) If one of orbs is equal to 0, an aspect is not taken into
     account at all.

  5) Aspects between cusps are not considered.

To change orbs in a horoscope, it is necessary to make adjustments
in the table. It can be made by the mouse or by the keys.

By the mouse:
Place the mouse cursor on edited digit, press a mouse button
and keep it until the necessary value appears.

By the keys:
Move the cursor under edited digit (use the Home, End, Up,
Down, Left, Right keys), and then press necessary digit.

The greatest possible orbs values is 9.9, for parallels and
contraparallels is 99'.

Having completed operation with the table, press Enter, - all
corrected values will be entered to the program archive, and the
horoscope will be displayed in view of new orbs.

If you press Esc, the former values will remain.

Major aspects and parallels are represented on a chart by solid
line, minor aspects and contraparallels - by dotted line.

If there is an aspect between planets which are taking place on
angular distance no more 5 (for example, the conjunction or the
parallel), these planets are outlined by a circle.

The planets which are taking place in conjunction with fixed
stars, are marked on a chart by red colour. Antares 5.1 takes
into account:
    * stars of the first magnitude,
    * variable stars,
    * star clusters,
    * nebulas,
    * stars of the 1-4 magnitude, which nature corresponds to the
      given planet.

Position of horoscope, house systems, orbs and colour of aspects
are saved in program files up to next setting.

For solar and actual chart it is possible to set the independent
parameters.

In Antares 5.1 is possible to create a horoscope of relocation
simply enough, without an exit from the program. For this purpose
click on the Earth in the centre of a natal chart or press F1, and
then operate in the same way, as at entry of personal data. In
result the chart for the CONDITIONAL birthplace will appear,
and in the RADIX folder the file will be created in view of new
geographical coordinates. This procedure can be repeated as many
times as you wish thus "travelling" on the Earth to search optimal
house network.

After an exit from the program in its archives the coordinates of
the real birthplace will stay, however file in the RADIX folder
will contain the information on last horoscope of relocation.
Therefore if you wish to save the file with a horoscope of the
real birthplace, do not forget "to return home" before an exit
from the program.

Abbreviations used in the natal chart and in the file:

AS, Asc or ASC - the Ascendant (the cusp of the first house)
DS, Dsc or VII - the Descendant (the cusp of the seventh house)
MC or X - the cusp of the tenth house
IC or IV - the cusp of the fourth house
               Su - the Sun
               Mn - the Moon
NN - the North Lunar Node
SN - the South Lunar Node
               Me - Mercury
               Vn - Venus
               Ms - Mars
               Ju - Jupiter
               Sa - Saturn
               Ur - Uranus
               Np - Neptune
               Pt - Pluto
           = or - parallel
               RA - right ascension
             Decl - declination
            or - contraparallel

                          *    *    *    *

If the program is run in Windows mode, natal chart can be printed
out by colour or black-and-white printer. To take advantage of
this possibility, act in the following way:

  1) Press F2 or click on the appropriate button in the right
lower corner of the screen, - the chart convenient for colour
     printing will appear.

  2) If to press F2 once again or to click a mouse button (cursor
is not visible at this moment), the chart convenient for
black-and-white printing will appear. Colour graphic palette,
creative, karmic aspects and parallels are absent here.

  3) The third repetition of this procedure returns the initial
chart. Thus, pressing F2 or working with the mouse, it is
possible to select the most suitable chart for printing.

  4) After that press PrintScrn, - contents of the screen will be
     placed in the clipboard.

  5) Quit from the program, open the graphics editor, installed on
your computer, and insert the chart from the clipboard. Work
in the editor by usual rules.

Note:
The monochrome variant of the chart looks as black on the white
background, however actually is not. Therefore if you use the
black-and-white printer, to prevent problems working with the
graphics editor, transform a picture into monochrome one.

                          *    *    *    *

If in operation the EPSON compatible dot-matrix printer is used,
natal chart can be printed out not only in Windows, but also in
DOS mode, and without an exit from the program. For this purpose,
using F2, set the monochrome chart and press Enter.

                          *    *    *    *

The file in the RADIX folder:

After initial data the table, in which are adduced ecliptic and
equatorial coordinates of planets (longitude, latitude, right
ascension and declination), and also the astrological houses in
which planets are located, is given in the file.

If any planet is in conjunction with a fixed star, in the graph "*"
it is marked by asterisk. In this table the conjunctions only with
stars which astrological characteristic corresponds to nature of
the given planet are taken into account.

Orbs of conjunctions:
   * for stars of the first magnitude, for variable stars,
     clusters and nebulas - 30',
   * for other stars - 15'.

About a nature of stars and their brightness it is possible to
read in the special literature.

In last column the planets force is indicated:
up to 2.0 - the planet is very weak,
from 2.0 up to 2.9 - the planet is weak,
from 3.0 up to 4.4 - the planet has average force,
from 4.5 up to 5.4 - the planet is strong,
from 5.4 up to 5.9 - the planet is very strong.

The planets force is defined in view of the Placidus's house
system.

The table of astrological houses of a horoscope further is
adduced. Here are given ecliptic coordinate of cusps, and also
planets which are taking place in appropriate houses.

All used aspects also are displayed in the file. In brackets their
orbs are indicated, - the values are rounded up to nearest whole
degree, orbs of parallels and contraparallels - to minutes.

The following angular distances are taken into account:
    Conjunction - 0.
    Easy aspects:
                major - 60 and 120, minor - 30 and 150.
    Hard aspects:
                major - 90 and 180, minor - 45 and 135.
    Karmic aspects:
                major - 40 and 100, minor - 80.
    Creative aspects:
                major - 72 and 144, minor - 36.
Parallels and contraparallels - on declination.

Other aspects are insignificant and not considered by program.

And at last, the major stars which are in conjunction with
planets, and also located on the east horizon or meridian are
given in the file. After the star name, its magnitude and
planetary nature are indicated in brackets.

The conditional denotations:
1 - star of the first magnitude
        V - variable star
        C - star cluster
        N - nebula

Stars having brightness lower than the first magnitude are not
considered in this case.

             IV. LONG-TERM ASTROLOGICAL PREDICTION

For creation of the "Long-term astrological influences table"
select <Forecast> - <Long-term>, then find in archive the
necessary name, click on it or select by keys and press Enter.

Enter the required information: indicate the first and the last
months of considered period (MM/YYYY). It can be done by keys,
and it is possible to use the window under the entry line. The
operating procedure with it is very simple: if it is necessary,
scroll up or down the list clicking on arrows' rects, and finding
the necessary line click on it.

Antares 5.1 makes the long-term astrological prediction for
period no more than ten years, therefore if longer period is
indicated, the program will perform calculations only for the
first ten years.

As a result of the program execution the folder which name
corresponds to a name of the horoscope owner will be created
in the FORECAST directory. In this folder the "lon" extension
file, containing the "Long-term astrological influences table"
will be placed. In the file name the first month and year of
considered interval is used. For example, if the owner of a
horoscope is called John Stone and the calculations were performed
for period since July, 1999 till July, 2009, in the FORECAST
directory the "JOHN STO" folder, and in it "1999-07.lon" file will
be created.

Before the table the characteristics of planets as elements
of a natal horoscope houses are given. For each planet the
astrological houses (by Placidus) are indicated the element of
which the planet is. The house in which the planet is located
is indicated the first.

In the "Long-term astrological influences table" equatorial arcs,
progressions and transits concerning the long-term and middle-term
astrological indications are adduced.

Pay attention to some essential moments:

  1) The progressions and transits are written for each month in
which they operate, and equatorial arcs - only for the peak
     months.

  2) There are arcs the peak of influence of which is not included
into considered period, but a general interval of influence
partially concerns this period. Such arcs are written in the
beginning or end of the table, near each of them in brackets
     the peak month is indicated.

  3) If the planet participating in an equatorial arc is an
element of resonant house, and thus the arc can generate
cardinal event, as the separating sign at its denotation not
a dash, but equality sign is used. For example: VII=120=Mn.

  4) Denotation of progressions:

[progressive planet] - [aspect] - [natal planet]

     For peak months:

[progressive planet] = [aspect] = [natal planet]

The inverse progressions at the end of the denotation are
     marked by a "full stop".

     Examples:
         Su-90-Ms  - direct progression;
         Vn-60-Mn. - inverse progression;
Vn=60=Mn. - inverse progression per peak month.

  5) Denotation of long-term and middle-term transits:

     Transit conjunction:

[transiting planet] - [natal planet] . (orb)

Transit of a planet through natal aspect:

[transiting planet] - [aspect] . (orb)

In brackets the minimum orb is indicated, formed during the
month (is rounded up to 1).

     Examples: Ju-Me.(1) Ur-120.(0)

  6) Equally with transits of slow planets, the transits of
Mercury, Venus and Mars for cases of their slow movement
are also adduced in the table. Let's remind: in such periods
the duration of transit influence can be rather significant,
sometimes more than one month, therefore they may be
considered as the middle-term astrological indications.
Orbs are not adduced in this case.

                        V. SOLAR HOROSCOPE

This method is not used in Complex prediction technique,
nevertheless, Antares 5.1 allows to create solar charts for the
persons, whose data are written down in archive.

Start antares.exe and select <Solar>.

Involve the necessary name in archive.

Using the mouse or the keys select, for what time you wish to
create a chart - for the moment of solar return or for the moment
of SPE-conjunction (let's remind: the difference may be up to 1.5
hour). After that indicate the year, for which a solar chart is
being created. Use the window in the centre of the screen; here
selected line is the current solar year for the given person.

After that, enter requested geographical coordinates.

Having performed all necessary calculations, the program will
create a solar chart on the screen (with usage of the same
astrological objects, as in a natal chart), and in the FORECAST
directory in the folder with a name of the horoscope owner the
file with the information on a solar horoscope will be created.
The file name corresponds to the year, for which the calculations
are performed, and the "srt" or "spe" extension means accordingly
the moment of solar return or the moment of SPE-conjunction. For
example, "1999.srt" file contains the information on a horoscope
created for the moment of the solar return on 1999, and the
"1998.spe" file - for the moment of SPE-conjunction on 1998.

The interpretation of a solar horoscope includes not only
independent consideration of a chart, but also its relation to a
natal horoscope. Therefore Antares 5.1 stipulates possibility of
combination of both charts objects on one screen.

Click on the "Combination" button or press O, - the chart in which
solar planet are represented by yellow colour and are located on
the external side of the circle, and natal planet - by blue colour
on the internal side of the circle will be created. Similarly,
solar cusps - on external radius (green), natal cusps - inside a
chart (dark blue). The degrees of cusps are indicated in circles
on separating lines of a horoscope's houses. The aspects are not
displayed in this case.

The file in the FORECAST directory also includes the information,
concerning both horoscopes. The coordinates of solar planets,
their position in houses of SOLAR horoscope (graph "S-hs"), their
position in houses of NATAL horoscope (graph "N-hs"), and in last
column - conjunction with stars appropriate to nature of given
planet are indicated in the first table. Besides as planets are
elements of natal houses during all life of a man (so, all this
time carry appropriate semantic load), the concerning of same
NATAL planets to NATAL houses is indicated in the graph
"N-chart elements". At the beginning, for each planet the house
in which it is located is adduced, and then the houses which it
rules.

The coordinates of solar houses cusps and contents of solar
planets in these houses are given in the following table.
Hereinafter two tables demonstrate a mutual relation of active
points of natal and solar horoscopes: NATAL planets and cusps
in SOLAR houses, and on the contrary. And at last, the aspects
between planets of solar chart, and "solar-radix" aspects are
given.

The file is terminated by information on major stars which are
in conjunction with solar planets, or located on east horizon or
meridian.

If the horoscope is created for a solar year which has not
occurred yet, the horoscope owner may not know coordinates of
the forthcoming site on the moment of solar return. In this case
it is possible to create a horoscope for any one most probable
site, and then to make "relocation" for other geographical points.
The operating procedure here is the same, as for a natal horoscope
(see above).

               VI. DAILY ASTROLOGICAL PREDICTION

To calculate astrological influences for any day and hour start
antares.exe - <Forecast> - <For a day>.

Select the name of the horoscope owner, and then enter a moment,
interesting for you. Use, if it is necessary, window in the centre
of the screen; here selected string line is current date and time,
other values are increased or decreased with an interval per 24
hours.

After that, if the speech is not about prenatal period and is not
about the first year of life, the program will request geographical
coordinates of a man on the moment of SPE-conjunction. The
coordinates should be entered in the usual order.

As a result of calculations the program will produce natal arc,
solar arc and transits on the screen. In the right part of the
screen the status of planets in the natal horoscope is adduced:
here for each planet its force is indicated in brackets, and
further - astrological houses (by Placidus), of which the planet
is the element. The house in which the planet is located is
indicated first.

STRONG natal and solar arcs are definitely marked by program, -
for their denotation as the separating sign not a "full stop",
but asterisk is used. For example, the VII*Vn arc is strong, and
IV.Su arc is weak.

The program estimates an arc as "strong", if a planet
participating in it...

is an element of a house to which cusp the arc takes
                   or
has the force not less 4.5
                   or
is an element of a resonant house.

Alongside with exact arcs, which the peak of influence differs
from a considered moment for no more than 3 days, the approximate
arcs having difference from 3 about 5 day are indicated also. They
are written out on the screen in grey colour.

The value of inaccuracy (in days) is adduced next in square
brackets.

Natal and solar arcs are written in the order convenient for
consideration:
       - exact arcs with an asterisk,
       - exact arcs with a "full stop",
       - approximate arcs with an asterisk,
       - approximate arcs with a "full stop".

All transits acting at this time are given below. Long-term
and middle-term - in "TRANSITS" section, daily - in "Transits"
section.

To daily ones refer:
  1) transits of the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars;
  2) exact transits of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.

For first transits the orb rounded up to nearest whole degree is
indicated in brackets; for second transits a digit in the square
brackets means quantity of days before or later exact aspect.

After termination it is possible to leave for the main window of
the program (Esc) or to return to request about new date for the
same name (Enter).

                          *    *    *    *

Antares 5.1 provides possibility of creating "Daily astrological
influences table", calculated for one month.

Start antares.exe - <Forecast> - <For a month>.

Select made name of the horoscope owner, and then indicate month
and year, interesting for you. (If it is possible, use the window
in the centre of the screen).

Enter geographical coordinates, requested by the program.

Pay attention, that if the calculations are performed for a month,
in which the owner of a horoscope have the next birthday, on a
course of calculations the repeated request about coordinates
already for the next year will be created.

After completion of calculations in the FORECAST directory (in
the folder with a name of the horoscope owner) the file will
be created, in which name the considered year and month are used.
For example, if the calculations were performed for May, 1999,
the file will be named "1999-05". In it will be placed "Daily
astrological influences table".

Pay attention: natal and solar arcs are given only for the peak
days, but transits - for each day, in which operate.

For transits of the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars the orbs for
12:00 GMT is indicated in brackets (rounded up to the nearest
whole degree).

For transits of the Moon the number in curly brackets means
Greenwich time of exact aspect (rounded up to an hour).

Duration of Moon's transits operation:
    through natal planet - plus/minus 8 hours;
    through major aspects - plus/minus 6 hours;
through semisquare and sesquiquadrate - plus/minus 2 hours.

For exact transits of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto
the number in the square brackets means quantity of days before or
later exact aspect.

                          *    *    *    *

It is necessary to remind, that general astrological influences of
day are formed by following factors:
    1) Predisposition by natal horoscope which is effective
       throughout the whole life.
    2) Astrological influences concerned with relocation.
Operate during residing in new locality.
    3) Long-term and middle-term astrological influences.
Operate since one month till several years.
    4) Daily astrological influences.

Considering a general astrological picture of day it is necessary
to take into account all four set above factors.

                   VII. INTERPERSONAL RELATIONS

Complex prediction technique allows to study character of the
possible relations of people and to predict development of this
relations in time. Let's remind, here it is necessary to take into
account mutual position of active points in horoscopes of both
persons (it predetermines QUALITY of relationship), but before
it is necessary to consider POSSIBILITY of relationship.

More detailed about it see "CPT" chapter 14, and the operating
procedure with the program may be the following:

  1) Create correct natal horoscopes for both partners and
tell by him about each other. If this information does
not disappoint them, proceed to the following stage of
     operation.

  2) For each partner make the daily forecast for acquaintance
date and for birth date of the second person. By natal and
solar arcs define POSSIBILITY of those or other kind of
     relationship.

  3) Start <Radix> - <Compatibility> and enter names of both
persons. After completion of calculations the program
outputs on the screen the status of planets in both natal
horoscopes, and in middle column gives mutual aspects
between active points of these charts. For example, the
string "Sa-0-Asc.(3)" means, that Saturn in the horoscope
of the first person is in conjunction with the Ascendant of
the second person's horoscope, and rounded orb thus is equal
     to 3.

  4) The order, in which the aspects are given, corresponds to
their significance for the interpersonal relationship: at
the beginning mutual CONJUNCTIONS of horoscopes' active
points are written by the white font, then (by yellow) -
aspects between the SAME planets, and only after that (by
violet) - all other aspects. Orbs are indicated in brackets
     by the grey font.

  5) As active points of horoscopes PLANETS and CUSPS are
considered; herewith aspects, orbs and house systems are set
by the user. The interaction of both horoscopes allows to
estimate QUALITY and FEATURES of the long-term relationship.

  6) When considering the possibility of the FAMILY RELATIONS, it
is necessary to make the long-term astrological forecast for
the coming years for both partners to find in the tables the
simultaneous indications on the MARRIAGE or CHILD BIRTH. If
such indications are detected, it is possible to consider the
probability of the marriage as higher.

                      VIII. ACTUAL HOROSCOPE

This function of the program is auxiliary and there is not direct
reference to Complex prediction technique.

If to start antares.exe and to select <Actual>, the astrological
chart by the current moment calculated for Kiev, Ukraine will
appear.

The users living not in Kiev, certainly, would like to deal with
the actual horoscope calculated for their geographical point.

To reset parameters, act in the following way:

  1) Make "relocation" in the same way, as it was done for
a natal horoscope (see above). Enter the data of the
     geographical point.

  2) Press G or click on line with the Greenwich time in the
     screen's upper right corner.

  3) Enter a difference in hours and minutes between time on
your computer and Greenwich time. If it is necessary to
delete former characters, press Backspace, then enter new
values and press Enter. Pay attention, that for locales to
east from Greenwich a difference of time is positive, to
west from Greenwich - is negative.

After an exit from the program new coordinates and parameters of
time are saved in archive files up to next resetting.

When passing to Daylight Savings Time and vice versa, or moving
to other district, do not overlook to reset initial data of the
actual horoscope.

                         =================
