The VM configuration editor will detect a floppy disk drive and automatically add it to your configuration. You can add one or two floppy drives using the VM configuration editor, as follows.

To add a floppy drive:

1. Open the VM configuration editor.
2. Click the expansion symbol to the left of floppy drive.
3. Click Device.
4. The configuration panel refreshes the right hand side to show device information. Enter the path to the floppy. For example:

/dev/fd0

5. Click Install.

If you install more than one floppy drive then you need to tell the BIOS when you first boot (Power On) the VM, as follows.

• Press F2 when booting the VM to enter BIOS setup.
• The BIOS setup main panel allows you to enable and select the type for floppy disks A: and B:. By default A: is a 1.44 MB 3 1/2 floppy drive and B: is disabled. Enable B: and select the type of floppy.
• Press F10 to save and exit.
6. Exit the VM configuration editor by clicking OK, or continue to add or modify another feature.
