Specifying Memory Size

The default memory size for a virtual machine is 32 megabytes. To set memory size to another value, click Memory in the VM configuration editor. Use the slide bar to set the new memory size. The size is restricted to multiples of 4MB and the maximum possible size is chosen based on available RAM and swap space.

Reasonable values for a given VM depend upon which guest operating system you will install and how many VMs you expect to run simultaneously.
