By default, the VMware application attempts to autodetect the mouse type and the path to the mouse. To change the mouse type to a specific type, use the pull down list in the VM configuration editor. To specify the path to the mouse, click on Specify and enter the new path.You are referred to the following sections regarding the use of the mouse cursor with VMs and the host OS:
